Comedy Theater
Comedy Theater is a genre-specific theater established in November 2011. It is located on Saint Clement of Ohrid Boulevard - in front of the European University, behind Josip Broz Tito High School.

Theater for Children & Youth
Theater for Children and Youth is the only national theater specialized in this kind of program. The theater is located at Dimitrie Cupovski Street, in the center of Skopje (Rekord).
The repertoire is published regularly on their website and their Facebook page.
Tickets for the plays can be purchased through the Karti.com.mk platform.
Replacement of purchased online vouchers is done at the ticket office in the Theater for Children and Youth from Tuesday to Sunday.

Macedonian National Theater
The Macedonian National Theater is one of the oldest theaters in the country with its 78 years of existence.
It is located on Iljo Vojvoda Street next to the Museum of the Macedonian Struggle for Independence, in the center of Skopje.

Turkish Theater
The Turkish Theater shares the building with the Comedy Theater, which is located in the center of Skopje.
The repertoire is regularly published on their Facebook page. Tickets can be booked on their Facebook and Instagram pages or the number +38970789576.
All plays are translated into Macedonian.
Drama Theater
The Drama Theater is located near Hotel Karposh, in the Karposh 2 neighborhood.
The theater has two stages - a large stage with a capacity of 357 seats and a small stage with a capacity of 100 seats.

Museums in Skopje
Museum of the City of Skopje
Located in the converted part of the old railway station that was partially destroyed in the Skopje earthquake of 1963 which killed over 1.070 people, the Museum of the City of Skopje is located in the center of the city.
In the museum, founded in 1949, there are generally two displays, one dedicated to the earthquake in Skopje and one archaeological setting.
The Museum building itself, at the former railway station, has been declared a significant cultural heritage of Macedonia. In front of the entrance of the museum, there are Roman tombstones and monuments.
Museum of the Macedonian Struggle
The Museum of the Macedonian Struggle was opened to the public on the 20th anniversary of the declaration of independence on 8 September 2011.
The museum consists of 13 chronologically arranged departments, and each of them represents the history of the Macedonian people from several periods. The original copy of the Declaration of Independence of Macedonia can be seen in the museum, exhibited in the lobby at the entrance.
Archaeological Museum
The Archaeological Museum formed in 1924 is the most significant and the oldest museim institution in Macedonia.
It displays movable cultural heritage, with over 7.000 valuable artefacts discovered through archaeological investigations throughout the entire territory of the country. Since 1924 this Museum is the most significant and the oldest museum institution in Macedonia.
There you can see the artefacts exhibited in the departments of Prehistoric Archaeology, Antiquity, Medieval Archaeology, Numismatics, Anthropology and the Lapidarium.
Museum of Macedonia
Located in the historical monument that was built in the 16th century - Kursumli An, the Museum of Macedonia was created by joining three museum in one - historical and ethnological museum.
The institution gathers, keeps, conserves and presents the national Macedonian historical and cultural heritage.
It is divided into few departments or sections like Department of Anthropology, Department of Archaeology, Department of Ethnology, Department of History, Department of History of Arts and Department for conservation.
Macedonian Museum of Natural History
The Natural History Museum of Macedonia is a national museum that collects, studies, and exhibits the natural treasure of Macedonia.
It is the oldest biological institution in the country, which on an area of 1,400 m2 represents the treasure of the Macedonian gaia, flora and fauna.
In the museum, there are permanent exhibits on minerals and rocks, fossils, plants, invertebrates, insects, fish, amphibians and reptiles, birds and mammals.
Holocaust Memorial Center for the Jews of Macedonia
The Memorial Center is located in the "Jewish Quarter" of Skopje, which was the center of the Jewish community until the deportation of the Jews.
The Holocaust Memorial Center for the Jews of Macedonia was opened on 10 March 2011, exactly 68 years after the coordinated deportation of Jews from what is now North Macedonia to the Treblinka extermination camp.
The memorial is a multimedia center, consisting of several functional parts.
Cultural Venues in Skopje
Macedonian Philharmonic
The Macedonian Philharmonic as a cultural institution, is home to the only symphony orchestra in the country, founded in 1944.
The new building of the institution was launched in 2017. The facility has two halls: a large hall with a capacity of 1,000 seats and a multi-purpose small hall with a capacity of 310 seats.
In this cultural institution, various musical and stage performances are constantly held.

National Opera and Ballet
The National Opera and Ballet is a state cultural institution of Macedonia. The opera ensemble was constituted in 1947, and the ballet ensemble in 1949.
The cultural facility of the National Opera and Ballet was opened in 1979 in the city center.
