From July 14 to 16, the famous traditional event "Galičnik Wedding" will be held in the village of Galičnik.
Thousands of visitors from the country and abroad are expected to attend the event. "Galičnik Wedding" is a two-day event that is considered a cultural and tourist attraction.
On July 14, starting at 10 PM, an all-night concert by the band Foltin will be held.
The official part of the program will start on Saturday, July 15, at 7:30 PM with folk customs, such as decorating the flag and firing the rifle, welcoming the musicians, traditional dances and similar.
The very next day, the tradition in Galičnik continues, when a church wedding ceremony is scheduled to take place.
Every year, a special commission chooses two young people who will get married at the "Galičnik Wedding". One of the prerequisites is that at least one of them comes from a Galičnik family.
