Skopje, October 1 — The heating season in Skopje will begin on October 15 and end on April 15, 2025, the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) announced.
According to the rules for heat supply and the tariff system for the sale of thermal energy, the supplier is obliged to ensure a heating temperature of 20±1 ºC in heated rooms from 6:00 to 22:00 throughout the day, according to the ERC.
The ERC called on residents, especially tenant associations, to check the internal installations and to settle their electricity bills for the heating substations.
In addition, the regulatory commission recalled that, according to the latest decision of August 1, heating energy bills for private households will be 3.16% lower, while around 1,200 companies, schools and institutions connected to the city's central heating system will have a reduced price by 17%.
