Skopje, January 17 — Turkish electric scooter rental company BinBin has once again increased its rental price in Skopje, now charging 11 denars per minute (~€0.18 as of January 17). This latest change marks a minimal increase of 1 denar from the previous 10 denars per minute and comes about five months after the last price adjustment.

The price increase, although we cannot pinpoint the exact date it occurred, appears to have taken place after December 28, 2024, based on the information we have. This suggests that the price may have been raised right at the start of the year.

When the company launched its service in Skopje in May 2023, the starting price was 9 denars per minute.

The reservation fee for a scooter remains unchanged at 3 denars per minute. However, there is a price change for one of the "BinPass" packages, specifically the 3-day package that includes 60 minutes per day. The price has increased from 300 to 350 denars. We were unable to confirm the exact timing of this price adjustment.

BinBin launched its service in Skopje in May 2023, rolling out 500 scooters across the city. As the first service of its kind in Skopje, it offered a new transportation option for residents and visitors in the Macedonian capital.

Renting a BinBin electric scooter is a straightforward process. Users start by downloading the BinBin app, scanning the QR code on the scooter to begin their ride, and ending it through the app. At the end of the ride, a photo of the scooter must be taken via the app. Payments are made through top-up credits, which can be purchased with a bank card. Users can also top up their wallets using a local A1 SIM card. Postpaid and prepaid mobile users can purchase a BinBin voucher via SMS by sending the text BIN300 to 141000. They will receive a voucher code worth 300 denars, which can be entered in the app under the Wallet section.
