Skopje, August 5 — Turkish electric scooter rental company BinBin has recently increased its rental price in Skopje to 10 denars per minute. This is a minimal increase of 1 denar, from the recent 9 denars per minute. The change comes about a year and several months after the company launched its service in Skopje.
The new price is visible directly in the BinBin application. Skopje.IN reached out to BinBin for a comment on this change and for information on possible new developments or expansion to other cities, but we did not receive a response prior to the publication of this article.
The service has also been offering the ‘BinPass' for some time, which includes several package options: a daily package of 150 minutes for 450 denars, a 3-day package of 60 minutes per day for 3 days at 300 denars, a weekly package of 180 minutes for 800 denars and a monthly package of 400 minutes for 2,000 denars.
BinBin launched its service in Skopje in May, 2023. At that time, the company introduced 500 scooters distributed throughout the city. The service was the first of its kind in Skopje, and offered a new transportation option for residents and visitors of the Macedonian capital.
Renting the electric scooters is straightforward. To rent one, you need to download the BinBin application. Through the app, you scan the QR code on the scooter, start your ride, and end it using the app. At the end of the ride, you must take a photo of the scooter through the application. Payments are made using top-up credits, which can be purchased through a bank card.
