Skopje, February 1 — Starting Monday (February 3), Skopje International Airport will operate as a silent airport. This means that from that day forward, no additional public voice announcements will be made over the speakers—except for boarding calls prior to boarding the aircraft.
"Passengers are kindly urged to closely monitor the display screens and monitors for updated flight information, boarding gate assignments, and any personal notifications regarding their flights from their respective airlines", they stated.
The airport authorities believe that reducing noise pollution will further enhance the overall passenger experience.
